Teen & Tween Summer Photography Camp 2024
( Experience Required: None Ages: 10 to 15 )
"The Photography Summer Camps offer a unique opportunity for teens to learn about photography and editing in a fun, hands-on environment. Each camp offers small groups to ensure your child gets quality instruction and supervision. The camps and associated activities are specifically geared toward the different age groups and run by a professional photographer who is also a qualified and experienced teacher and instructor. The Campers will learn about the different principals of photography and have ample time to practice under supervision, both in the studio and outside. The classes are close to walking trails and parks in the beaches, so campers can walk to all activities. All campers will go home with a mounted print of their work at the end of their session."
If you are between the ages of 10 and 15, you can take advantage of theinstructional photography camps offered at LENS WORK.
These five day workshops take place in a fun, informative atmosphere where students will learn the basic rules of digital photography, composition and editing. In class instruction and daily field trips around the lower East Side of Toronto
Students will also make a stone “transfer art” as well as go home with a 16” by 20” print.
Snacks and refreshments are provided and a digital camera can be loaned if needed.
The classes are taught by Photographer Len van Bruggen IV & his assistant. This is the 11th year of hosting Summer Photo Camps and I guarantee an inspiring, informative, fun and safe environment for all aspiring shutterbugs! The camp is held at the Lens Work studio where there is ample room for shooting indoors with studio lighting, and in case of rain. It is also close to many locations where we will be going out and shooting.
Classes have approx. eight students. Please pre-book to get a spot in the desired week as classes can fill up.
